Dyspraxia Study, University of Reading
Susie Formby would like to hear from families with children with dyspraxia (aged between 8 and 18) who would like to take part in a research study at The University of Reading.
I am interested in visual perceptual abilities in DCD. Your child will be asked to search for a target item presented on a computer screen. The trials vary in difficulty; the target item might be similar or dissimilar to the items that surround it. Your child will also be asked to complete a motor task and a visual perception task.
If you agree to take part, we will ask you to visit the Psychology Department at a time convenient to you. You will be offered a £5.00 cash incentive for taking part and we will cover the transport costs for the visit. The whole session should take about an hour, with breaks where needed. On completion of this study we will send you details of the general outcomes.
Thank you in advance, your help is extremely valuable to us.
