supporting children, families and adults with dyspraxia

Search and help raise money for the Dyspraxia Foundation

Cleveland

Our group was formed in 1991 and we aim to develop the self-esteem of Dyspraxic children and young adults in our area by arranging various activities.

We have a weekly karate class (Friday evenings) and this is proving very successful with a number of the children reaching the black belt stage.
A number of the children/young adults also play football each Saturday at Eston taking advantage of the facilities provided by Middlesbrough FC Academy.
Every year we take a number of the children/young adults to the Calvert Trust Centre nr Keswick where they can take part in activities such as abseiling, canoeing and rock climbing. We also arrange social activities such as visits to the cinema and restaurants.
We would welcome new members.
